House of Peace Monthly Nature Walk – Theme: Inner Justice

Walk it Like I Talk it!

June 2025 Theme: Inner Justice

YES JUSTICE — YES PEACE

June 2025 Theme: INNER JUSTICE

Welcome, beloved community, to this month’s journey with The House of Peace Nature Walk—where soul meets soil, and stillness reveals truth. Whether you’re walking the trail in Houston or joining us from afar, you are part of this sacred collective practice.

Our theme this month is one of the foundational peace principles in the Science of Life curriculum: Inner Justice. The world speaks often of justice—social justice, legal justice, economic justice—but this month, we invite you to journey inward.

Reversing the Call: From Outer Justice to Inner Justice

We’ve all heard the chant echoing through movements around the world: “No Justice, No Peace.” And while this call holds powerful external truth, we at the Building Relationship Power Institute offer a deeper layer:
No inner justice, no inner peace.
Yes inner justice, yes peace—true peace.

Justice, as we teach it, is not only a demand we place on the systems outside of us—it is a divine law etched into the very structure of the Universe. Justice is the invisible order that ensures balance, accountability, and harmony. And that order begins within.

When something inside us feels off—an unsettled heart, a recurring mental storm, the dis-ease of an unresolved wound—it’s often the voice of inner justice sounding the alarm. The question is not only who hurt me or what’s wrong out there, but where have I stepped out of alignment with the laws of my own soul?

What is Inner Justice?

Inner justice is the sacred discipline of honoring divine law within the temple of Self. It is the practice of:

  • Taking radical self-honesty over blame

  • Listening to conscience before convenience

  • Making peace not just with others, but within your own choices and consequences

  • Realizing that peace isn’t a privilege—it’s the natural result of inner integrity

Justice isn’t a concept floating in isolation. It is intimately woven with character traits we emphasize all year: patience, presence, truth, self-love, and humility. Without these qualities, the law within us cannot speak clearly.

Nature’s Reflection of Divine Law

During last year’s June walk, our community witnessed nature’s own justice system in action. The trail, usually serene and open, was blocked by fallen trees—evidence of a storm that had passed through. From the outside, the park appeared untouched. But once inside, the damage was unmistakable.

This is how inner justice often works. From the outside, we may look fine—well-dressed, smiling, busy. But when we go inside, we may find blocked pathways, broken branches, and uprooted beliefs. Inner justice invites us to pause, look honestly, and begin the sacred work of re-pairing—not punishment, but realignment.

Justice Always Prevails—Even When Unseen

One of the divine truths we teach in the Science of Life curriculum is this:
“Just because no one saw you transgress the law, does not mean you got away with it.”

There is no hiding from Divine Law. Not because it is punitive—but because it is precise. Like gravity, like breath, like the sunrise—Justice operates consistently, whether acknowledged or not. It is this very consistency that creates freedom. When we live in right relationship with universal law, we experience peace—not as an emotion, but as a state of being.

Life Is Always Fair

To those who say “Life isn’t fair,” we offer a higher truth:
Life is always fair—because Justice is always at work.
But justice does not answer to emotion. It answers to alignment.

When life feels unjust, the work is not to escape, but to listen. What is being revealed? What divine law have I (or we) ignored, denied, or broken? Where am I being asked to restore balance? When you do the work of inner reparation, peace will not be far behind.

Walking It Like We Talk It

This month, as you walk -ask yourself:

  • What part of me is asking to be heard through the voice of justice?

  • Where have I ignored or denied the truth inside me?

  • What amends must I make to restore my own inner peace?

Trust this process. Justice, though sometimes uncomfortable, is always sacred.
